canopy to guarantee shade grown coffee. Not only does the
shade grown method of coffee production yield a unique full-bodied
flavor due to the slower natural ripening of the coffee
berry but, shade grown also means that there is no destruction
of the rainforest involved in the cultivation of this coffee.
This is significant in the search of a cure because the
U.S. National Cancer Instutute has identified more than
30,000 plants that are active against cancer cells, 70 percent
of these plants are found only in the rainforest!
Our Rainforest Blend is medium-bodied.
These 100% Shade & Orgainically Grown beans are roasted
to a deep Dark Vienna. Harvested underneath the lush canopy
of the rainforest, it yields a mellow pleasant cup! Enjoy
